Ok so back to habits and why I feel they are beneficial and should show up no matter what diet you choose to pursue, if any!
Did you ever set out to do something big? Like go after a big dream or chase a large goal? If you have than you know those initial thoughts are always magical. You are excited about the goal but you haven't really paid much attention to the journey.
Well after a few weeks or months you start thinking, damn, this is hard! That magical feeling starts to fade.
I'm sure we have all been there at some point. The reason I am sharing this scenario with you is because all you did was set one large goal and eventually got overwhelmed and wanted to quit. Our success with losing weight or getting healthy isn't so much about the found in setting the goals, its in building the small habits or completing manageable tasks in order to get there!
We can all relate to this is some way but I really want to help you stop that never ending cycle we all seem to be apart of.
I want you to choose one goal, right now. Make it something you feel you can do. Maybe its drink more water in a day, or add in more vegetables, or go for a walk. WHATEVER IT IS, choose one and do it everyday for 30 days.

Do not punish yourself with exercise. When you get into that mindset you will start resenting working out because you will associate it with something negative rather than all the positive it brings.
I totally get not wanting to lose your progress but it is not going to happen with one meal or in one day or really one weekend!
If you can relate to this I want you to do this...
Each morning when you get up be intentional about how you will show up that day. Will you do your workout? Will you focus on your nutrition? Will you go to the party and have one margarita and then seltzer? Pick your one way to show up and stick to it and let the rest happen. Remember this is for a day, not every single day. One day letting yourself eat outside your plan is going to be ok!
